About the Foundation

We are a 501(c)3 based out of Goldsboro, North Carolina. Our goal is to provide time-limited financial assistance and to help connect the uninsured and underinsured to therapists and other mental health providers in the private sector as well as create clinician moderated community outreach groups to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for people to make connections with others that will support their journey of wellness.

Have you ever changed jobs or picked an insurance plan with a high deductible, to make the premium payments more affordable? These situations often leave people without insurance or with extremely high co-pays for services-especially with regards to behavioral health. Donations will be used to provide financial assistance, provided there is a demonstrated need, for up to 6 months of therapy sessions with a clinician in the private sector. All applicants will be referred to the Foundation by licensed clinicians who will be completing their application for assistance during a brief consultation or during a scheduled session. The application will include financial information (to determine the financial need), insurance information (if applicable), diagnosis history or possible diagnosis, and information to determine the applicant’s level of acuity. The applications will then be reviewed for approval. If approved, the payment will be provided directly to the clinician in order to ensure funds are used appropriately.
